1950’s Transformation

The original 1950’s home was lacking in space and had become unsuitable for our client’s family. We wanted to create a modern open plan living space to the rear while also including the essentials like a large utility room, guest bathroom and playroom. On first floor a new extension over the converted garage allowed for a generous master bedroom to include a walk through wardrobe and en-suite. The attic was also converted to create a fourth bedroom with a dormer to match the existing house. A clear connection to the garden was very important to our client and this can be seen as soon as you enter the hallway, there is a clear view right through to the greenery outside. The extension is wrapped in “Tegral” cladding panels to give a distinct separation between old and new.
