New lease of life for period home

We were appointed as architects and interior designers for this project on Mount Pleasant Avenue in Ranelagh which involved the complete refurbishment and interior design of a Victorian villa. We created a light filled kitchen and garden room on the ground floor and a master bathroom with dressing room on first floor. The existing house had a beautiful landscaped garden whose view was completely blocked to the kitchen by a large chimney breast. We removed this and opened up to the rear adding a bright seating area to the kitchen. Graphite coloured zinc and stained cedar were used as external materials which contrasted well with the existing brick.
